Daily intense cardiovascular exercise, especially jogging or lap swimming continuously for at least 20 minutes every day.

It also helps to meditate. May I recommend instrumental classical music in a relaxed position rather than the smoke and mirrors of "spiritual" or religious meditation?

REMEMBERING a beautiful melody from your instrumental meditations during a pulse reading helps calm it down and give you a nice reading, too.

Relaxation. Deep, deep relaxation.

The weed probably made you anxious. You know, like scared. That's what made your heartrate go up.

It's important to be near people you know and trust right now, like your parents or even your cat or dog. Just hang with them and try to cool off.

You can also try yoga or meditation, but the chill out is just as good sometimes.

Finally, forget about trying to make your heart rate go down. Focus on your breath instead of your heart. Breath in, and breath out, and stay in control of that breath.

Think about where and why you smoked that weed. Your increased heart rate tells you something about that time and place, and you should use that information to plan your life. Do you trust the people? Did you feel trapped in that situation? Your heart is telling you something your mind may not be able to. Use that information (which is coming from inside of you) to direct what you do - instead of letting other people direct you.

That's what it is to be noble and self-directed. Your heart knows what its doing.

Then stop smoking weed. lol Cardio exercises also help too. I heard that X-Games star, Dave Mirra, has a coma-tose resting heart rate of 35.

Meditation. The question is, "why ?" A heart rate between 60 and 100 is normal. You don't mention what your heart rate is, but if it is greater than 100 you need to ask "why" regarding that.

My guess is that you are simply anxious. Take a hot shower and relax a bit. Marijuana's effects should wear off in a few hours.
