i usually say how's it going and see ya later, but from now on i think i will say "hi hi and bye bye."

depends on the sitution
when some one coming than Hi Hi
and when some one going than bye bye

I think "bye bye" is just a shoot off of "good bye". Children say "bye bye" instead, and I think it just caught on for normal speech.

i always say bye bye....its so silly cuz i feel stupid after words but its an old habit

its a polite way of saying goodbye..:) like people say HEY! instead of hi...or whatever ...sorry im just tired :)
