I've done that before and from my experience I wouldn't do it again. It wasn't anything bad but we just didn't work out even though we were attraced in a lot ways. But we had to work together even after we broke up and I just didn't like the vibe and I think it affected our ability to work together on a team and it was awkward when we were alone.

No - girlfriend! This is a disaster of the worst kind! Looks good now - may even seem like the answer to all of your dreams or prayers! Girlfriend - listen please - either quit that job, get another, and pursue the relationship, or do not open that Pandora's Box! But if you've already made up your mind - get ready for more stress than you could ever imagine when the relationship ends suddenly - and you're concerned with what may have been revealed to others personally about you during your relationship with your co - worker! If you're into self-destruction - by all means go ahead! If you're not - there are plenty pickings in another workplace!

It is nice for people to have the same interests but if the relationship doesn't work out, then it will be hard to see the co-worker every day. Some employers have rules about dating co-workers. Do you know the company policy for your job? I say it is better not to have a relationship with co-workers. Is it worth the price you may pay?

On the job relationships can cause a lot of stuff. You have to maintain a business like relationship on the job....no sneaking kisses or touches because someone could end up getting fired. Also if it doesn't work out you have to see this person every day til one of you leaves. Example...you start seeing each other and way down the line you breakup and he starts seeing someone else but you still like him....that could be very difficult. I would really really really think about this from all angles before I jumped in.

Depends. You both need to be mature enough to deal with your relationship if if goes bad. The funny thing about meeting people at work is you usually know more about that person's life, their quirks, etc than even your friends, since you converse with them for the majority of your waking hours.

I would take the chance but go into it with your eyes VERY WIDE OPEN.

No relationships with co workers...not good for you or him/ not good for the work place cause everyone will know; not good for job security or for your boss to find out. Nope....it's a no brainer.

No third parties allowed, unless it's a consensual threesome.

Still a RED FLAG!
Find a good guy outside of work.

Becca,
Through out my long life I have always subscribed to the old saying...'Get your meat at the butcher and your lettuce where you work'. Never mix the two. Besides, you meet the nicest people in church.

I wouldn't suggest it... if it doesn't work out you will still have to see him every day... and some companies have a policy against this..
