Okay again I am a nurse, and happen to work with someone that is not so honest. In fact she is currrently addicted to pain medication (fact) not gossip, but we all know she steals but pretty much don't even bother anymore to complain b/c our boss (dr.) never does anything about it. This is the second incident where her and her children came up to the clinic at 11:30 at night for whatever reason b/c we close at 5 and her kids went through my drawers and took some of my belongings. My I add her children are 14, 17, 19. This time I didn't notice until she kept asking (crackhead) "hey where is this and that I hope my kids didn't steal it". Okay so she eventually admitted they had taken things, b/c she was witnessed by the security guard her and her kids were there really late. Well when the Dr. found out about it she did nothing and told me not to cry over spoiled milk. I was furious b/c at the least I thought she was gonna say her kids were not alllowed up there I wasn't even

expecting her to be fired. This is the 2nd time our stuff was stolen by her and her family the dr. knew about both. For some reason she keeps excusing this lady for the things she does stealing, lying, calling in medications for her friends who are not patients, she takes 10 breaks a day, and on top of everything she was a patient before we hired her and we knew she was hooked on drugs but the dr i work for thought she could help her by giving her a job. After that I was fed up grabbed my **** and left. What would you have done?

Are you freakin serious????? She is an RN???? you need to report her to state boards and your supervisor. What is your number I will call you and direct you. I am an RN and this would never happen at our facility..... i mean maybe people steal, but they dont admit it....hell, call me 540-761-7734. You can call the DEA or JACHO. They will resolve the matter in minutes and get rid of that supervisor... crying over spilled milk... where did she get her degree, toys our us???? Take care of this, its bullshit.

Hmm...are you able to put any type of lock on your draws? That would be helpful. Its hard to say what you can do without having any type of support from your boss. Is there anyone above your boss that you can bring this to their attention? I believe you can get into some hefty trouble for stealing meds. You could also look for some sort of little alarm to put in your draws that makes a really loud noise. As much as possible avoid leaving anything valuable in your desk, period. You can't trust anyone. Good luck, and I'm sorry about your difficult situation. Try not to bring you down, you're better then that. :)

Is this a private non-profit clinic? Or is it government. Is that Doctor in total charge of the clinic? Does the doctor need to answer to anyone? I'd find another job and give notice. Nurses are in short supply in the US. You should be able to find a well paid job easily.

Ok...you are enableing this woman to continue her habit at your expense and at the risk of your job; not to mention the kids stealing. Tell them that they cannot com up to work after 5 if she is not on duty. She cannot bring her kids, cause if she does you're calling security. Tell her this and mean it. You want to end up at the end of a gun one night? You're not being smart about this situation; I'd advise you to talk to your supervisor and tell him you're going to call the police if it happens again. I'm sure he'll straighten her out asap.

From a criminal point of view, you dont have any actualproof that she certainly genuinely took something. to be sure that your boss to do something he could have had to be sure her himself willingly take some thing that he knew for a actuality wasnt hers. If he fired her on hearsay that's all youve given him then hed be in criminal concern. Thats only the way the courts are in recent times. you may now suggestion him of such stating that issues have a habit of disappearing whilst shes around and could desire to he save a watch on her if attainable. Now in case you assert something approximately her stealing, placed it as heard with the aid of the grapevine from sturdy components or if she gets wind of you asserting such she could desire to sue you for violating her rights. wish it is clever and sturdy success along with her
