why does my kitten meow when she enters the bathroom, the door is always closed, but after a shower, I will leave it open to let the steam out, she walks in there and starts to meow as if she is lost.... keep in mind, i did potty train her in that bathroom.. it was her, her food, and littter box many of nights when she was like 4 weeks old.

This is something dealing with the phycological nature of cats, cats are use to things being "the norm" but when something which is usually one way changes they make sure that everyone knows about it, since the door is alway closed except when your venting the bathroom this throws her off and since cats are animals of a spacific nature they don't like changes to their home, even if its a regular thing.

I don't know why she meows, but a lot of cats like to go in the bathroom after someone finishes with the shower.

Well my cats meow when ever a door is closed. They want it open. And they do it when they enter into a room May be your cat just wants u to know she is there.

I have noticed that Kittens do remember their earlier days of life (when they are suppposed to be with thier mothers - then weaning away) and recall it and also try to behave or act out in the same manner. When they recall those behaviours or comfortable feelings and now not experience it they cry (meow).
Most probably your kitten is remembering the earlier days of her life when you trained it in that room and now when it see it filled with steam and uncomfortable atmosphere it meow when she enters it after your bath.

Maybe she's sensitive to the heat and humidity. Maybe she gets lost in the fog...who knows why kittens meow and act goofy. Kittens are kittens. ;) My kitten would steal my keys in the night and hide them making me late for work. I loved her but she drove me crazy!!!

I'm no expert but my cat does the same thing when I close any door in my house. it's almost like she wants to know what's going on in that room without her going on.

You may have answered your own question, she's probably wondering why her "bathroom" supplies are missing.

Also any room that's normally closed off will be a curiosity to her and she may be saying "thanks for letting me in here to scope out the place".

Maybe she wants a bath too... my cat used to go sit in the tub and howl. I'd go in and hose her down, dry her off, and she'd happily go to her pillow to lick herself off. Weird kitty.
