Bigger than a Beagle, smaller than a Rottie. You're playing genetic roulette and there's no way to tell until he stops growing.

Rottweiler's are lovely pets, they, like most other animals are only a product of their conditioning. I had a beagle for 17 years - who to this day I believe was the best dog ever...

The dog won't be too tall, but both breeds are large chested and built to be sturdy. Should be a lovely mix....good luck.

The above poster is correct- also, beagles come in a few different sizes, so that plays into it as well. There's no way to know expect to have your vet guess off the pup's current size/weight. Just enjoy your new dog!

If you know for sure one parent was a beagle and the other a rottie, then the pups will be somewhere in between their sizes. Beagles can be 25 lbs and Rotties up to 100 lbs. It all depends on who they take after genetically!

Oh my goodness, are you freaking retarded? Mixing a large breed dog with a small/medium breed. Sorry, is your friend freaking retarded? the beagle part of him will hound and then you'll have the deep bark of the rotti. I'm sorry, i still can't believe this crap, ppl mixing large with small/medium breeds. All i can say is, I hope the rottie was the female, because it would've hurt her if she was the beagle.

There's absolutely no way to accurately predict how big any mix will get - every puppy in the litter could be very different. Potentially, it could get as large as the largest parent or grandparent.

You can never tell...but I imagine he will be a mid sized to smallish big boned dog.We get lots of mixesat the shelter and are Shocked when the puppies come back for surgery sometimes..The ones we think are going to be huge are tiny and the tiny ones are big..Look at his feet..It will give you a bit of a clue!!!!
