Lenses are typically designated as 1 day disposables, 2 week disposables, 3 month planned replacement lenses or 1 year long-term use (there are also other schedules such as 30 days). The length of time you should keep these lenses varies on the manufacture, brand and your doctors recommendation. My best advice is to call your doctors office and ask the brand and what the wear schedule should be. Were these free trial lenses? If so they are most likely 2 week disposable lenses, as that is the most common type of trial lens.

Continue changing the solution and storing them in mulit-purpose solution when not in use. If the solution dries out the lenses should be thrown out. Additionally if the lenses feel in comfortable then they should probably be replaced.

There are many types of contract lens's..you need to check with your doctor who prescribed them and or look at the prescripton of how it was written on how long the wear is..don't fool around with contacts you could scratch your eyes and or cause damage like infections from long use and certain fluids used.
