I have never seen such an interest in the things of God. Our Church was 50 members in 1992 it went over 8000 this year with over 90 Churches that have been planeted out of this one. It just seems that in the past 10 years people are so hungry for God..maybe it's a last day thing..maybe it's raining!!!!! Praise God!!(Joel 2)
What's going on with you guy's!

Don't get too excited...power corrupts. Sooner you will be a nobody inside your church.

Giant congregations loose the personal touch so quickly. What are you going to do...watch your preacher via jumbotron for a closeup?

It is good to see you have over 8000 members and over 90 churches, and yes people are truly hungry and need to be fed. So I ask what food are you feeding them? is it food that brings forth change, like women wearing nothing pertaining to men, or women preachers, or men not having long hair for it is a shame, or when married it is until death do you part. Not three and four wives, or children being obedient to parents or the church, or coming into complete submission to God's laws and commandments. Holiness that good food that will save souls for all who follow and obey? What are they being fed? And most important are they being born again according to St. John 3:5,
St. Matthew 28:19, and ACTS 2:38.

If your church has grown to such an extreme extent, it could be due to the war. Some people want to be saved, and have turned back to God.

If you are a Catholic, it's not surprising since most of those approximately 10 million illegal immigrants are Catholic. Presumably, they attend Catholic church to give thanks for the church's support for their illegal activities.

Here is a link to a Gallup poll that shows numbers for 1990 to 2000. Christians seem to be one of the lesser growing religious oriented organizations: (5% Christian to 109% Muslim, 170% Hindu, 237% Buddhist, 110% atheist/secular)

Depends why you are growing. Are the members coming in because they are being fed spiritually, or is it because you offer more "entertainment" than surrounding churches?
