You might consider vaccinating your dog yourself. Over the counter vaccinations for parvo-distemper are often available at feed stores and some vet clinics will sell them.
If your dog is sick, don't give the injections. It's immune system is compromised and it will not be able to put up a good immune response and the vaccinations will be useless.
Be aware that with all vaccinations there is a risk of an allergic reaction. Most are mild, but they can be FATAL.
Puppies should be vaccinated every three weeks from the time they are six to eight weeks old and continuing until at least sixteen weeks of age.
Rabies vaccinations are sometimes available OTC, but don't skimp here. If your dog bites someone the state will consider it an unvaccinated dog - even though you gave the vaccine. In my state, vaccines are only recognized if they are administered under the direction of a licensed vet.

humane society, provides low cost spay and neutering, and if you are unable to pay anything, they may be able to refer you to an animal rescue type place, that may be able to sponsor you.
That is, they will place (for example) $20 on the books at the animal shelter, so when you arrive just mention the organization sponsoring you. Just remember as soon as you are wealthy enough to afford paying for such service, don't forget to make a nice donation back to the place that once helped you out, in time of need.

Call a local vet and ask if there are any places that offer free (or cheap) vaccinations. Each city is different. Some cities have free vaccination programs and others have places that will do it at a discounted price.

many pet stores offer a low cost vaccine day at their shops. They have a vet come out every month or so to vaccinate animals. Check out your local pet stores.
