I was in the 6th grade and her name was Dawn and blonde. This crush came to an end painfully after her mother's death. She wanted someone quite a bit wild. It hurt but in time, I found someone else to love.
Some times we stay in a relationship because of fears of the unknown tending to show us that we have insecurity in our lives and the present relationship offers some at best. If you are unhappy or unsatisfied you might want to explore other options and look at your fears in the face and grow past them. Your present relationship can only benefit from the experience even if you just make more friends.

Mine was in 5th grade. We broke up a year after, but we remain good friends to this day and he's a godfather to my baby. :)
