God is not the Aurthur of confusion, therefore many are confused because they have not met the true God. However the answer is in your question. They are confused because the earth is being ruled by Satan. He ( Satan) is the Aurthur of all confusion.

no. the real reason for our confusion is that there have been false prophets in the past, present and future. there will be those who pervert the bible verses for their own gain.
God created the heavens and the earth. He created somewhere along the line the angels, who worshipped Him. lucifer, the fairest and most senior angel rebelled.
God commands us to keep the sabbath, pay or respects to Him and in return, He will grant us eternal life.
even as much as i study, i get confused. that's why i question, and have to take some things by faith, but even if i am wrong and in the end, i was just the best person i could be, who did not purposely harm anybody, then the whole world still wins.

Satan was the most beautiful of God's angels. He became full of pride and wanted to be worshipped as God was. He was not given the earth to rule. When he was cast out of Heaven by God, he was permitted to tempt other world's.....

Satan was not given earth to rule...Satan supposedly was an angel who wanted more for himself...He is said to have fallen figuratively and literally from heaven and into hell.
