Yogi Berra is the second most quoted person in the world... behind Shakespeare. (Not bad for a guy who never finished 8th grade.) Sure, his sayings are wacky when he says them, but they (usually) make perfect sense in context.

When asked about a pizza being cut into 4 or 8 pieces Yogi replied, "4 pieces, I don't think I could eat 8 pieces".

Yogi Berra, while giving directions to his house: "When you reach the fork in the road, take it."


This is accurate because he lives on a cul de sac, so either way would get u to his house.

Those statements that are actually his. There are similar statements floating around that are often attributed to him because of how they sound. You might have to look up each one to see who really said it, but I know Yogi had quite a few head-scratchers.
