First, consult a physician!

Walking is the best. Start out small, and work your way up. A 15 minute walk might be good for a start, and see how you feel afterwards. If you are winded, it is good until you get used to it. Then up the time slightly.

Range of motion exercises are good as well. Pilates uses this basis for their exercise program, but be sure to get assistance from a trained professional to start out.

Again, first consult a dr before beginning to see what the body will take!

Walk 20 minutes a day. Start with less if needed and work up to it. If possible work your way up to about 40 minutes or even 1 hour.
Find a good safe place to walk, where weather isn't a factor.

20 minute to half hour walk outside at your own pace is perfect. connect with nature, take in the beauty and breathe fresh air. that's all you need to stay healthy. While watching television lift light weights to build muscles. that's it. Oh, and eat a balanced, whole foods diet. drink plenty of fresh, clean water. no salt, sugar, trans fats, white flour, processed foods. Perfect. good luck!
