They made an interesting evaluation of the water that I drink at home (botteled) and boiled water, ans tap water and the one filteres with the machine from life mist (lifemist.com offers more information). The results : some ugly thing, green and black in the different samples form my water (after they aplyed alot of electricity with a small machine pluged)
Any one with information??????

it is safe to drink, but it would be better to drink tap. or even filtered tap water. you get a lot of minerals in the water that you drink. more good than bad.

I don't think so. Drinking water should have lots of living organisims contained in it. What is a Life Mist machine? You know i personally don't trust those machines. It will be brand new, you will have to run the water through all the new tubing etc...and it will have a plastic taste to it. Try getting your water from a natural spring. In australia i am lucky enough to have spring water from a 10,000 year deposit, (Cooroy Mountain Water) delivered right to my door - 18litres for $9.80 that includes free delivery. I now only drink this water, it is 'slicker' than regular tap water, and honestly, I crave this after a while.

Distilled means that they boil the water and then capture the condensate. This is really no different than the water that forms on top of lids when you are cooking on the stove. It is simply a more pure form of water.

In no way am I saying that their product will help you. There are things in water that are good for you, like minerals.

The debate rages on that question. I heard an "expert" say that distilled water leaches out the minerals from your body. He was rebutted by another "expert" who said that distilled water only leaches out inorganic minerals and leaves the organic minerals untouched. Who knows? Distilled water no doubt beats the fluoridated and chlorinated water we drink hands down. Whether it is a better alternative than Reverse Osmosis filtered water is not so sure.

distilled water is NOT for drinking. it is, in theory, absolutely pure, and therefore contains none of the minerals which are associated with proper taste. drink filtered, clean, spring water or municipal water which has been passed thru a supplemental, in-home filtration system.

distilled water (assuming that its actually distilled water that you're going to be getting is perfectly safe. The only issue might be the presence of any pollutants on the surface where the consensation forms.

I've been drinking tap water for 42 years now and I seem to be fine, physically. All you need is some ice to make it cold. Spend your money on something worthwhile, like beer.

It's Ok to drink, but you shouldn't drink too much. Your body needs minerals and certain electrolytes that are not found in distilled water.
