Well let him know that you are interested in him. If he knows that you are interested then he will have a much easyer time to ask you out.
Hang out with him and drop HUGE hints that you like him... some guys (expecially the shy guys) need big hints where as others need little or no hints.
Another way is to ask him out yourself.

Go for it girl. Don't let those feelings of insecurity get you down. Be confident. Ask him out. THe worst he can do is turn you down. Plus if you like him you can get him. Confidence is key and with that avitar you obviously have that

what you should do is just get to know him and then when you get to know him you can write him aletter asking him if he likes you and see what happens.and if he only wants to be friends then dont get hurt just understand that you can always find some one else
