maybe i can help,,if you take the passenger side door lock out ,,there is a number on it,,you can take this to a dealer,,or a good lock smith ,,and they can cut you one ,,now some car,s and truck,s the number is on the driver,s side door lock,,but the most i have seen,,and especially on a dodge,,it is on the passenger,s side,,they have a machine that they punch the number,s in and it will make the key you need,,i just had 2 made for my Chevy that way,,your not the only one who looses key,s,,i hope this help,s you.PS most dealer,s i have talked to wont cut a key from the vin number ,,because there have been a lot of vehicle,s stolen that way,,and beside,s they don't really know that you own it,,when you do it like this,,good luck.

With a 1991 Dodge, the dealer can not cut the key from the VIN. A good locksmith can make you a key, either from the number on the lock, as someone else said, or by doing a lock impression.
If you have AAA they have a locksmith service included in some plans!!

yes a locksmith can take the vin. number off the vehicle and make you a key. It happened to me , cost 60 bucks.

one of two ways to fix this, and because time is of the essence, the dealership is your best, and safest ticket. Otherwise you could replace your tumbler (ignition) wich comes with a new key. However that could be costly.
