Does it give you an error saying the uninstall is missing or corrupt? Does it show up in add/remove programs? Does it have it's own seperate uninstall program that doesn't use windows add/remove? Otherwise, you probally have to manually remove it. Delete the folder that contains the program. Then run Ccleaner http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner . Another good program to run is called abexo registry cleaner, the problem with it is they only give you a 5 day free trial. Norton windoctor is a good program for cleaning registry problems as well.

1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs
2. Find the name of the program that you would like to remove and select it (left click on it once).
3. Left click on the button (towards the right) that says "Remove".
4. Just follow the instructions given and the desired program gets removed properly.
If you can't find the name of the program in step 2, then find for the file / folder of the program in your local drive. Delete whatever related files / folders from there. If this still cannot work, you might wanna consider reformatting your PC (only when the program you wish to delete gives you a lot of critical problems / errors in your system).
All the best!

I have two suggestions. First, try using an uninstaller software program (easy). Second, you can delete the programs via the registry (hard).
Uninstaller software programs delete and system files and registry keys belonging to the software program you want to remove. There are a number of commercially available uninstallers. I recommend TuneUp Utilities 2006 (www.tune-up.com) and Iolo's System Mechanic 5 or 6 (www.iolo.com). These two programs are actually system utility suites with an uninstaller. Both offer a 30-day trial period, so you can try it for free. They are very effective.
The second option is to delete any system files belonging to the program and then manually deleting the registry key belonging to the program. Removing system files is moderately difficult and registry keys are difficult if you aren't familiar with it.
Try the two suites first and see if they do the trick. If it doesn't then send me a message and I'll walk you through the process of manually removing the program.

If as//remove programs in control panel does not work. Do everything before formatting your hard drive. You can use search above start and search for the files associated with program and delete them. You can delete the files manuall from your registry. You can go to program files, open and delete all elements of the program. If it is something like Nero they have a download to help you delete it.

Press start, go to control panel, click on add or remove programs, go to the one you want to delete and press the button on the right hand side. Follow extra instructions if given.
