Sling, Backpack, or Messenger??
I want a bag that isn't bulky and looks cool...not geeky.
I want:
* A lot of space to put my stuff/books in it..
*Is comfy because I have to WALK 15 blocks EVERY morning/afternoon..
*Isn't annoying when I move around.
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!

I'd get a Backpack if you're walking 15 blocks.
I used to walk a lot and a messenger bag was the crappiest choice i ever made. I'd have to switch form shoulder to shoulder because i'd get so tired.

Sling bags are even worst I guess because they are made for one should on one side (usualy the right). If you carry lots of junk it's goign to be a strain on your right shoulder.

I suggest Jansport backpacks. They last long and are really comfy.

The kind of slings/messenger bags that go over one shoulder can start to hurt if you have a lot of books in them, so that might not be the most practicle if you have to walk. Backpacks distribute the weight better and are very common, so they don't tend to look geeky. (Granted some backpacks look better than others).

Jansport is ok. I would also reccomend Samsonite.

BACKPACK... trust me. I had a messenger bag. It completely screwed up my back and shoulders. Backpacks are best because they equally distribute the weight of all the stuff you're carrying.

A jansport backpack. Jansport has a lifetime guarantee so you can get it repaired every time it needs it (and it will if you use it for a year). You want a backpack so you can carry all of your books and won't hurt your back. I like this one: http://jansport.com/js_product_detail.php?cid=8&pid=TCP5

PS- I had mine from 6th grade to college and I loved it.

I think a backpack is the best because it balances out the weight of your stuff. There are many backpacks out there that are cool, not geeky.

How about one with wheels! They may not be as cool as some others but it'll save on the shoulders.
