I am 36, just started how to play golf. I am keen to have a used golf set for a start, where or how can I approach any persons or organisations for their generous contribution ? Thanks and Regards.

Thrift stores are a great place to pick up used sets. You are a beginner, stay away from blade sets. You won't be able to control them. Try to find cavity back with a wide sole. They have a much larger sweet spot, more forgiving when you miss hit. Keep in mind, 97% of golphers cannot break 100 on a consistant basis....Golf is a game. Enjoy it.....bob

assuming that you dont want to spend that much yet on clubs, try looking at yard sales. if you want to invest on a good set of clubs, go to ebay. finally if youre serious enough already, check out golfsmith.com, tgw.com, golfgalaxy.com and other golf stores for both pre owned and new clubs. before you purchase any club, read reviews that are available on the net re those clubs. try hitting them at the golf stores as they have demo clubs that you can use. id suggest that you use cavity back irons as they are more forgiving on mishits. finally, buy clubs which promotes confidence when you stand up behind the ball. feeling and knowing that you can hit the ball well with the clubs you bought will provide you with positive attitude when you play and promote overall success. hope this helps.
