Ilitary industrial complex huh? Karl Marx, is that you?

Besides Grenada right? We won the Cold war, we won in Panama, & in Hatti. We won in Bosnia & Kosovo, and you can call those peacekeeping if you want, but having been there I'd tell you ur full of crap if you do.

Let's just cover the "losses" though shall we. Korea the objective was to retake the territory of South Korea, so we accomplished that objective & ended in a draw/ceasefire before it became a nuclear war. Vietnam? We won the hell out almost every battle there militarily. We lost politiclly because of restrictions on ops allowed the military significant advantages, all because we were scared of nuclear war with Russia. We ultimately lost that war though because the anti-war movement took the side of the enemy rather than stand by the mission. Somalia, we got hit in a mission we were overconfident in, and ran away from fear of blood. What's the net effect of those losess? It is that the exact same as negotiating with terrorists. When they see us get beat up a litttle & run home crying, then they are going to fight when the war is already lost, because they know the American public can be turned to cowards if they bleed us long enough. The current insurgents are not stupid. They know very well the can never beat us militarily. They are just hanging on trying to bleed us long enough to swing US public oppinion. They are using you to take over their country & restore Saddam to power, or in the case of al Queada to sieze the mid-east as a united islamic country on the road to taking over the world in preperation for the coming of Alah with their reward. Go read their published objectives. Go read directly from the mouths insurgent & ethnic militant groups & see what they intend to do if we pull out, and they have the power to do it if we don't stand in their way.

You should change your diapers, you are full of it. The wars have all been won from a military standpoint, its the causes that were lost. They were lost when politicians lost their nerve and failed to exact a military victory and chose to cut and run. If the libertards have their why the same will happen in Iraq and Afghanistan.

how about dessert storm....i seem to remember beating the crap out of saddam in a few weeks. at the time, they were the 3rd largest army in the world.

iraqi freedom........same thing. and don't give me this crap about the insurgency. there are more homicides in DETROIT, MICHIGAN, USA each year than there have been in BAGHDAD, IRAQ...........look it up.
