I don't believe in heaven. When I think of what it's like after you die, I see worms and dirt. Seriously. But if I had to think of the "perfect place" I would say it would be a place where all the people I like are and no one that I hate or find annoying. There would be tons of well-cared for cats and dogs running around playing together and wanting to cuddle and be petted. There would be no children or babies. Lots of flowers. Nothing would ever get messy or dirty and I'd never have to go to work. I could sit around all day and do whatever I pleased.

If you've ever read "the five people you meet in heaven" that is what my heaven would be like. I suggest, no matter what religion you are, that you read that book. I'm atheist and it still changed my views on life and the human existance.
If you havn't read the book basicly there are people in heaven who you might or might not have know in your life, but their existance changed the way you lived in some way, and they are there to explain the meaning of your life and why you were born. It showed me exactly how connected the world is, and that nothing is left to chance.

My version of heaven now would be any place where 8 full hours of sleep per day is allowed, there are no cars and therefore no gasoline, sex is abundant, and there is great food and wine with no calorie counting.
As a non-Christian, however, I don't believe in the spiritual realm of heaven, but in the eternity of the soul as manifested in reincarnation. Let the hate mail begin!

Pretty well life like it is just now except the lights would stay green until you got through. You could balance all the ironing and transfer it upstairs in one go. You'd just MAKE the train, bus, boat, plane. Who you were rooting for would win. Justice would be done. No one would suffer. Children and animals would not need protecting. I'm still not sure about harps. You get the idea- what this world aspires to be .

God is based around faith. If you believe then, it is true. The divine is only defined by what you see, an anyone who tells you you are wrong is a messanger of the devil. Don't get me wrong... I am not religous or even remotely close to it, but I do alot of research on different religons. So I am getting off topic here. Heaven is not what others see it as but what you see it as.

Well, of Course, there would be naked women everywhere, but beyond that, it would be quite vertical. Lots of mountainous cliffs, giant blobular lakes just floating in air, and yes, other planets within flying distance (if god can manage it.)
and of course, lava and brimstone, but the brimstone smells great, like fireworks. oh, yes, and you can surf it if you like.
A few Escher- like palaces, belevederse, and the like, and huge game boards, replete with pieces, of which no one knows the meaning or purpose of. and sunless caverns, measurless to man, where alph, the sacred river ran, down to a sunless sea.
and of course high bluffs with homes by horror haunted, in desert lands enchanted, where tempests toss on the nights plutonian shore. ANd of course, deep, immeasurable nebulae of many colors, where one can retreat for a few million years to medetate on the meaning of nothing, and discover things so small that atoms were unaware of their presence. and if I have the choice, it will be pie heaven, because though it could be a trick, if it isn't- mmm boy!

My idea of heaven would be my whole family all together on a road like the road my family in Alabama lives on. In fact, I think it would be pretty cool if heaven had golden streets named after every family's last name.

It's a place that is located above earth on a planet where the city of zion is established as well as other cities of God. there would be many kinds of angels such as the ones with four wings, four faces : man lion and 2 other animals. Then there would be the saved dead resting in their soul and spirit forms and the place would be beautiful with Gold streets and water fountains, and spirit animals made of soul, spirit, and spirit body perhaps.
