Us adults can maybe teach the younger ones a thing or two. I know there are some really good questions on here from the younger crowd and I like to pass on the good advice if I have it to them. The ones who have the "garbage" are just not mature enough I suppose to handle this "all" section. Guess we will have to grin and bear it as they say and hope some do find that good advice we can give. It is not all bad having the children on here, we can learn alot from them as well. It is sad that there are a few that have to ruin it however. My advice to them is to get off here if they cannot be respectful. Thanks for bringing this up!

Part of me wants to say yes, but I too have answered some questions posed by children. Someone has to give them an answer.
Frankly, it's frightening the number of kids who are pregnant, not aware of contraception options, not aware of how they deserve to be treated by boyfriends, not aware giving personal info to strangers on the internet is a serious safety concern,....
Where else are they going to find adults who will give them advice?
As for the rest, I navigate out of the childish jr. high stuff, the lame gay jokes, etc., and just thank God I'm not 14 anymore.

Think there's a bit more to it then that. Some of the kids come in here for general questionable information and it's entertaining and fun to answer their questions, so let's not knock all of them for that. Then we also have adults (or at least I'm led to believe they are adults) who are worse then the kids. They play gobbly goop with their writing, some can't take criticism for their questions and write emails to us telling us we're racists, dumbbells, a**holes and what ever else their pea brains happen to come up with. So before you knock the kids, take a look around us and appreciate the freebee that yahoo has provided for us. Do as I do as a suggestion, ignore that which you dislike and enjoy and have fun. None of us are perfect.
(Sorry Yahoo, I didn't know that **** was a nasty word so I changed it to goop for you)

i don't feel we need a grown-up section. i think as grown-ups, we can choose which questions we want to answer and by-pass those that may be "jr high" in nature. there are several good answers to this question, especially the ones stating that "we" as adults can possibly help a teen. they may post something on here that they are afraid to talk to their family about or may have no one else to talk about problems they are dealing with alone. do you remember being a teen? not an easy part of life.

Maybe not an adult only section as much as a section for people who have gathered a decent amount of points to prevent people who make fake profiles just to mess around.

Apparently you haven't noticed yet that some of the questions from the so called adults on here are worse than any a child could dream up.

Nope. i think everyone should be able to share opinions with everyone else. How can you really get a honest answer from EVERYONEs point of view? Kids have an insight into the world that we as adults are to jaded to see.

I vote yes! Absolutely! I'm tired of all the silly baby talk too, although I have found myself answering some pretty dumb questions on more than one occasion..embarrassing!..
Yeah!!Adullts Only section, but how? Im sure they would manage to weasel their disrespectful little selves in somehow.

Do you really think that having a grownups section would stop anyone?
