This is definitely an American Staffordshire Terrier or a mix with this breed as the predominant part. If you are choosing to adopt this dog please make sure that it has a full temperament evaluation and please do not adopt this breed for the first dog experience. Dogs of the "pit bull" breeds need to have responsible dog owners that have experience with raising and training dogs that can have dominance and aggression issues. I am a firm believer that there is NO BAD BREED, there are BAD OWNERS that ruin the reputation of the breed. Unfortunately, most of the time it is the innocent members of these breeds that then pay the price for these irresponsible people. As a disabled individual that has been involved with dog breeding and training since I was very young, the best Service Dog that I have had in the past 10 years was an Am Staff/Rottweiler cross that I raised from the time she was six weeks old. Responsible owners create responsible pets.

Looks like a Staffordshire Terrier (or American staff) mix. Both Staff's and American Staff's are commonly bred with Bull Terriers (the infamous "Pit Bull") which has become a popular "breed" among males with a small penis complex. Pit Bulls generally have a very aggressive nature and a dangerously powerful jaw. Their disposition can be unpredictable. If raised with love, they can be quite mellow, but I still wouldn't move into a place where there was one next door (especially if there's children around). You can read more about the breeds that are involved at www.akc.org to research the breed disposition and history. By the way, the color of this dog is "brindle" or "brindle piebald".

It definatly has Boxer in it along with a little something else. You can tell if it has Pitbull by looking at the jaw bone inside the mouth. A Pitbull has a huge, solid jaw about 4 inches from the back of the mouth coming forward towards the teeth. This dog doesn't look Pitt to me at all. I've volunteered at an animal rescue for 4 years and have gotten pretty good at guessing breeds. I say Boxer and your vet can tell you their opinion also.

He is for sure a Boxer. I can't see a side view of his head to tell if he is pure bred or mixed with a Pit Bull.
Adorable dog..........

I am thinking it is a type of bull dog. Maybe something English. I know there is a English Bulldog but I think it is shorter, stockier and has twice the size jowels.
Let me know when you find the correct answer-K?

box/american bulldog, or maybe a boxer bred with a pitt/box. Whatever it is looks like the boxer came out mostly. Beautiful dog whatever you say.
