Let me analyze the dream
Recurring dreams come in the mind because there is some unsolving issue. If in reality, that issue is resolved, subconsciously you will not think about it, not even in dreams.
strangers in fog = socially incapable.
die = departure
In your dream, it could mean that you are trying to talk to someone in real life and yet there are some difficulties socially. Maybe you are a shy person. Many times you give up and you can't see yourself fit in and so you leave. You can't view the stranger(s) well. That reflects to you that stranger is actually how you position yourself in social life.
I could be wrong, but that is how I see from your dream

I believe that dreams originate when the subconscious of a person is attempting to "express" itself. No, this is not a scientifically proven anwer; but it is my opinion, one which I have read in psychology books a few times.
The idea is something like this; the subconscious pieces together a story to express what we might not ever admit to, or be aware of. When a dream is repeated in the exact same format over and over (or even 3 or 4 times), your own subconscious is trying to tell about something that is really bothering you. If this is true, and it seems that it is, then there is something going on in the lives of someone you do not know very well. And it is something that you seem to know about, something that is not good for them. Perhaps it is even something that could bring them death or a lot of trouble? Dreams are not "exact" and death can mean that someone will move away!
The best thing you could do to help interpret this one is to stop and analyze for a moment. Do you know ANYONE that has recently started doing something that you feel is dangerous? Has a member of your family gotten a new job that will cause them to move away? Is there anything unusual that you know of that is happening to people that you know, but are not really close friends with? I would guess that you will probably figure out what your subconscious is trying to tell you. And if you do get the right answer, the dream will stop.

I've always heard several things about dreams. Either that's God's way of telling you to pray for that person (if you can see them in the dream), or you thought about something relating to that dream during the day before you went to sleep, i.e. you heard a song in the background somewhere and you don't even recollect hearing it, or you watched a movie where the dad gets hurt so you dream about your dad. Also, dreams can present your fears to you--maybe you are afraid of not being able to see someone or that someone is going to die, so that is why you're dreaming of it.

Have patience.
When you have the dream, write down everything in it you remember, every time. Likely there will be some differences.
Also keep a daily journal of your thoughts and feelings.
At some point, it will come to you what the recurring dream means to you. Most often it is something in your subconscious that speaks of a feeling or fear we have.
It may take weeks, months, even years, just be patient, and you will know.
I just yesterday realized the meaning of a recurring dream I have been having for several years.

it could desire to point some thing or it could desire to no longer recommend something in any respect. your targets come out of your unconscious which prepare targets the two randomly or from what your feeling. you would be able to are in a challenge suitable now which you have been wherein includes your previous friends or that your friends helped you with that alter into very emotional for you. or possibly your unconscious picked this because you may desire to help with a challenge. there are a number of motives that they arise on your targets. possibly you may desire to offer them a call. or each little thing i pronounced up there's a bunch of junk and you may desire to easily enable your unconscious do despite.
