remedy for a salty mouth?

Person has a broken jaw and has it wired shut but her whole mouth is salty and she cannot get the salt out of her mouth.

drink water...and gatorade..you need to replace your electrolytes....gatorade can do that for you.....use a straw and sip it....or soak up a small sponge on a stick..(looipop) and wet their lips with it....
