if you have been to the DUTCH side of the island please tell me the following in your opinion....


Do they ID people at bars for legal age



Do they ID people at casino's for legal age



Do they have the "coffee shops" with pot



is it legal to smoke pot there

No you don't get ID at bars...no you don't get ID at casino's unless you present yourself like a good or to grown up. Nope no kind of coffee houses and nope it is not legal to smoke pot. (Go to Holland for that). Other than that St. Maarten is a very nice place. Great night life and great people.

Yes they check ID's if you look close. Forget the pot thing, it illegal there too. But in case you interesting in more than drinking, gambling and smokking pot, the island is lovely with many great beaches.

pot is illegal in almost all if not all caribbean countries, yes they ID 4 age especially if you act weird, same goes for casinos no the coffee shops don't have pot
