There are a LOT of people around that would love to have that problem!

If you can afford it, change it. If it will drain your financial resources, leave well enough alone and enjoy it as it is. You might find you wouldn't like the newer room anyway.

The success of any decorating scheme depends on how well it suits all the members of your family. To create a décor that you will be happy with, think about what you want and also what you don’t want.

It’s a good idea to know what you have before you begun to change things. As you begin to pull your design ideas together, think about your preference and what will work in your home.

Color can work wonders... it can change the look of a room and change your feeling about the room. You can start by looking through magazines, and catalogs. Give yourself plenty of time, it will take longer than you think, and your ideas will develop as you go.

Gathering samples is a great way to begin. If you are starting with a color, your samples might include fabric, paint chips, wallpaper, carpet, wood, stone, and tile.

Knowing what you can spend on a project will give you a clearer idea of what you can achieve. If you’ll on a limited budget, mark off those things that will make the most difference, such as a new wall color and a new sofa.

You can set the mood of a room in lots of ways, such as lights, and furnishings. There are no hard or fast rules or must-do sequence for this process.

YOU SHOULD TRY TO USE THINGS THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE TO TRANSFORM YOU OLD INTO THE NEW BUT STILL HAVE SOME OF THE OLD THERE....//LIKE IF THERE ARE LOTS OF PILLOWS IN THE NEW ROOM...LOOK AROUND YOUR HOUSE AND SEE IF MOM HAS ANY THAT AREN'T BEING USED....NOW IF THEY WERE ALL THESE NICE CLOTHES....USE SOME OF YOURS OR MOMS SCARFS TO RECOVER THEM.....IF THERE WAS A BOOK SHELF IN THE NEW ROOM AND YOU CAN AFFORD IT...TRY TO GET DAD TO HELP YOU MAKE ONE OUT OF SCRAPS THAT HE MAY HAVE LAYING AROUND.....OR YOU CAN USE A METAL SHELF THAT HAS BEEN IN THE GARAGE...TURN THE SHELVES UPSIDE DOWN SO YOU HAVE A LITTLE LIP SO THAT YOU PLACE STUFF ON IT IT DOESN'T SLIDE OFF....BUT TO REALLY TRAN FORMS THOSE SHELVES...YOU CAN ASK MOM IF SHE HAS ANY CLOTH, OLD SHEETS.OR CONTACT PAPER YOU CAN HAVE....IF YOU USE THE CLOTH TRY TO USE PINKING SHEARS TO MAKE A DESIGN ...THAN GLUE THAT ACROSS THE SHELVES IN THE FRONT THAT HAS THE LIP......NEXT YOU MIGHT WANT TO PAINT THE REST OF THE FRON WITH YOUR FAVORITE COLOR AND THAN TAKE WHAT EVER YOU WANT AND GLUE IT ALL ALONG LEAVE SOME OF THE PAINT ED AREA EXPOSED......THERE ARE A MILLION THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO THAT WILL HELP YOU CREATE YOUR DESIGN BUT CLOSE TO COPING WHAT YOU LIKE..........SO YOU HAD BETTER HAVE AT IT.............

Well, take some "ideas" from the picture and add them to your current room. Maybe change the color of room or decor to freshen it up a bit. Less expensive.

Try to mix and match some of the pieces that you saw with what you already have..you might not like a whole transformation at one time. If you get a piece at a time it is more affordable.
