My girlfriend has/had mono, but all her symptoms have gone away and she feels 100%..but we havent risked kissing yet. She started feeling bad last wednesday or so, and was feeling sick up until monday or so and is now feeling good...should we risk it? or how much longer should we wait to be sure? a week? or more?

I had mono, and was ssoooooooooooooooooooo sick for 2-3 months!!!!!!!!!
Has she been released to go back to work/school yet? As soon as her M.D. says she is okay to be in public, then she is no longer contagious to the public. This is a highly contagious illness, and you don't want to play the fever/no fever game, as she will be feeling the effects of mono for up to 6 months. Follow Doctor's orders on this one, as it's no joke to catch or to get well from.

When I had mono I was told to wait 6 weeks after diagnosis. Not to share the same drink, etc.. So my boyfriend at that time and I waited. He did not end up with mono. I would wait, it hasn't even been a week.

Your boyfriend has mono..... i comprehend you'll get mono from different sources, yet he only may be dishonest on you, so if i changed into you i'd do somewhat investigating. issues aren't to any extent further continuously how they look, meaning even although you may no longer imagine he may ever cheat it is many times the most probably.

A person can be infected with the virus for weeks or months before any symptoms appear. Symptoms usually appear 4-7 weeks after infection, and may resemble strep throat or other bacterial or viral respiratory infections. So if you were going to get it, you would have caught it while she was going through the incubation stage.
