Its practically impossible to overdose on marijuana, but other drugs you can overdose on and not just because you mix them with pot. Too much at once or an accumulative overdose can happen

I noticed a couple of ignorant responses. Yes that's harsh. Marijuana does not increase your risk of having a car accident any more than talking on your cell phone. There is no evidence that it causes birth defects or cancer. Cigarettes contain 22 cancer causing chemicals. Would you rather inhale ammonia or smoke from a weed. There really is no chemical addiction with marijuana, you can become emotionally or psychologically dependent. There was one educated answers and I would encourage you to take what information you get here and research it. There is NO clinical evidence of the harm it causes because most people who smoke marijuana also smoke cigarettes. It is considered a gateway drug, that you will end up using other drugs. I've NEVER known anyone to get the shakes or DT's from it. No you cannot overdose but you can end up living in your parents basement until you're 50 if you let it control you. That's true with just about anything. Educate yourself, know the repercussions of your actions and be accountable.

Marijuana kills people who use and drive.. or do another activitiy that involves reflexes and safety.
It is not safe by any means. If you are smoking it ..you are putting yourself at risk for lung and throat cancer and some of the very same things that smokers get..you also can get more colds, have a baby born w/ birth defects and get more coughs. ( yes it does lower male hormone levels too )
MJ is commonly misunderstood.. there are people right now in MJ cessation groups.. who can't stop smoking it without help..
Often joints can be laced with other drugs like meth or PCP or more. That part can be scary.

No The reason I believe it is not legal because people think it is a gateway drug to hard drugs This can also be used as a reason to make beer illegal. Americans have a very long learning curve.We had slaves and no rights for women. It takes a long time for things to change.

Most people don't know that marijuana lowers testosterone, therefore the more guys smoke of it, the more feminine.

Never heard of anyone dying of it , but it is not good for you in the long run, it can lead to other things.

yeah. I knew alotta young men who smoked weed. alotta them died from getting high and thinking that it will calm their brain down so they can do something stupid. yeah, some of them died from trying to rob someone and ended up getting killed first. so, yeah, smoking weed is suicide.
