my gramother is a aaa member but we arent and are planning a trip to NY can she get are tickets and reservations for us?

You will need the AAA card at check in and the reservation must be on her name. If you book the reservation and the front desk agent doesn't ask for it, you'll be fine. In the other hand what you can do is have her call, book, and pre pay the reservation and then make sure it's on your name. I worked in hotels for 3 yrs and the AAA discounts were not that big... it may not be worth all the trouble. Try online reservations and frequent guests programs, they are free and sometimes offer stay discounts. Have fun!

No she can only buy one ticket so you are in trouble. Maybe become a member. It is only a thousand dollars to join and 500 dollars a month, so its not like its expensive. Besides why would you want to go to New York? it smells and its icky and there are rats and muggers!
