How are you out on medical leave if you haven't shipped to basic yet? You aren't technically in the military yet. Did you have an accident that prevented you enlisting in time?, Did you fail your physical for a medical reason? Seems strange to me.

depends.. what was the bonus for? just enlisting? than probably not. If it was for a specific job, and you lose that slot in school because you couldn't ship on time, then probably.
Bonuses are not paid until after succesful completion of Basic Tarining, or in the case of job specific ones, completing the school.
