I just started seeing this guy who recently got ouy of a 5 year relationship. He has a child with his ex. He recently told me he wants to take it slow. I agree, but at the same time I feel he may not really be interested in me if he's saying that. Should I bring it to a stop, or continue going slow.

Slow means slow, not stop.
When anyone comes out of a relationship they need to get over it before they are even able to give themselves 100% to another person. It is a sign of intelligence on his part to realize this. He is being very nice and open with you to even be able to communicate this deep feelings with you.... Sounds like a keeper..

Just take it slow. I was in a similar situation and I was really glad I decided to take it slow because I got to learn more about him and realized he wasn't the right guy for me. Take it slow physically too. It keeps you from getting too attached so you can both figure out what you really want.

I am divorced after 10 yrs and i would say the same thing have you ever thought he just wants to be with that one person and does not want to make the same mistaks that landed him be single again i guess women for some reason don't think that men feel or want the same things that women do but when infact some men do.i know myself when given the chance again i will make sure to slow down and do the things that need to be done and said. It's easy in our busy lives to just not do things that need to be done or said and i belive that it leaves people paying the ultimate price.

i hope he does the same in bed.
only u can figure it out coz ur the one hus with him each day. if u feel like ur relationship is getting nowhere, it will never get anywhere. he may just using u as a band-aid. if he is sincere though, its always good to take it slow and let time take its course.

Sounds like a good thing. He wants to get to know you the right way. He was probably emotionally scarred by his long relationship and doesn't want to make the same mistake. If you really like him, be patient with him.

he just got out of a relationship, so he might be recovering from it...which is a good thing, he doesn't want to make the same mistakes as before. give him some time if you feel it's right.

He means take it slow. Don't read anything into it. It has nothing to do with his interest in you.

I think guys are generally more straight forward with women (than women are with men), so don't try to psychoanalyze him, take him at his word. for now. if he is trying to gently brush you off, you will start to see other signs or he will just come right out and say it.

good luck
