When writing a book, its important to combine creative language with a compelling story. You want people to pick up the book because what you're writing about is interesting (so just hope your life story is interesting enough for people to care) but they keep reading because the writing is good.
Try having some constant themes in terms of writing. If you use similar language throught the book, it will give it a sense of continuity.
If you really want to know how to write well you should probably take a (community) college class

Books such as:
Turning Life into Fiction by Robin Hemley
Your Life as Story (Writing the New Autobriography) by Tristine Rainer
Writing From Personal Experience (How to turn Your Life into Salable Prose) by Nancy Davidoff Kelton
These are just 3 you can probably find at your local library or Bookstore.
I suggest getting a notebook and keeping track of lifenotes and dates so that you know when to place them in your biography.
Good luck!

Start by writing and writing and writing. It doesn't have to fit in any order. Write about your opinions, and then wonder where you got them and write about that. Once you have a big pile of writing, you can sort through it and pick out a story.

i'm writing about myself too, babe. gimme five! i think you should know where to start first and then elaborate it in a very honest but not too serious manner. try not to reveal too many private info bout urself. make it like a fairy tale story book. put some moral values that you've learnt and make sure you write it as interesting as possible. (who knows it might be one of the best sellers!).
gud luck!

You need lots of descriptive adjectives and simarlies. Break your story into paragraphs and plan your story first and decide what each chapter is about. Check out, "My Titanic Story" on my 360 site.

I suggest reading autobiographies of both famous and not so famous persons. The intent is not to steal content, but to learn by example. Yeah, it takes a long time, but it will give you insights.
