My ex-step mom is won't let us see my soon to be 2 year old baby sister. She's trying to get him to give up his rights as a father, but he won't do it. We never get to see her and I'm afraid she is gonna grow up not knowing me and my family and not knowing that we exist. Im also afraid shes gonna turn into a brat like Natasha (her other daughter). Ive tryed writing her and her mom but i got no reply. What should I do???

Tell your father he should take your old step mom to court for visitation rights, and ask your dad if it would be okay for you to speak to the judge about how you are hurt by not being able to have a relationship with your sister.

First of all, you're a really good person for wanting to help raise your little sister.
You'll probably have to take this to court. have a judge force your ex-step mom to let you and your dad see your little sister at least one or two days a week. You might want to even involve the police to prove that you get to see her or not. If she does not listen to a judge's orders, she might lose custody of your sister.

I bet your letters are being thrown away. Unfortunately you aren't among the principal players in this awful hurtful game. The mother of my son's baby hasn't let us see the little one in almost 2 weeks. My son is hurt but he doesn't have time for games or money for courts. Keep her close in your thoughts and when you finally do reconnect, tell her "I've thought of you so often and I missed you" and she'll know it's true. As kids grow they figure out who was true, and who was not. It may take a long time, but you'll get her back.

Take her to court, he has every right to see her if he is paying child support. If your over 18, take her to court but i suggest you to tell your father to get custody battle going on so that this child can be part of both of your lives. She sounds like a b***h, hope her daughters or sons dont take after her on that.

Be persistent, keep on writing her, show up at her home and ask to see your sister, ask your step mom why she is keeping you from your sister!! tell her you will definite be apart of your sister life, you would like it if she could grow up knowing you , if not you will hook up with her when she is older and your step mom will have to deal with the consequence then of keeping sister apart on purpose.
