Just a word of advice... Not everyone is going to like the name you pick. And if you ask other people what they think of it, some of them are going to say things that make you hate it! If you like it, use it! I am not trying to be mean... it's just that when I was trying to find a name for my son, I went through the same thing. Everytime I found a name I liked, I would bounce it off of other people, and someone would find something negative about it... and then I would decide against it! Just make sure your husband or significant other likes it. And then keep it to yourself until the baby is born. Then nobody can say anything, and you will always love it!!!

Archer is OK, although it doesn't sound like a legitimate name.

I do really like the middle name Finn! It's great! Very uncommon, and unique.

It's also great that the two names have a different amount of syllables in them, for some variety.

Is Finn the middle or last name? If his name is Archer, call him Arch. Archer sounds archaic to me. Is Finn a family name, what does it mean for a middle name?

I like it. I know what you are going through, it is hard to name a child, it stays with them forever!!!! We are expecting our son next month. Archer Finn sounds like a strong name. Good job!

I wouldn't say it's 'gay' or 'dumb!', I'd say Archer is a little too unique for my taste. I like Finn alot.

As a character in a book, sure. As a real person, not particularly.
