When you highlight your hair you are removing color from the hair shaft, so yes that is permanent until you cut it off or recolor your hair. When you are low lighting your hair you are adding color which yes that can fade. When it comes to color Nothing is Permanent granted it says permanent but a little secret COLOR is COLOR mess up try again. I have had ever color imaginable. . trust me i know color is fun enjoy it. have fun.

You are on the right track.... Lemon mixed with sun will make your hair highlighted and shine. It will fade when you reduce your time in the sun or it grows out.

Well it will grow out with your hair as your hair grows. So if your hair grows slow than i wouldnt recomend it. Your hair would have to grow really fast in order for it to be gone in the summer. But lemon grows with your hair and than when you get a haircute it will be gone.

It will fade when the fall comes and the sun is less. However, nothing in hair is permanent, hair is dead cells that keep on dying which means your hair will keep on growing.
