i don't have the extended warranty on this phone since i gave the other phone to my husband that does have the warranty-he ran over his which isn't covered in the warranty-i bought this one from a refurb place....and i can't upgrade for another year since we just did the upgrade....and you can't use your warranty when you're responsible for getting it wet...

I did almost the same thing. Take it all apart and set it over one your air conditioner vents for the night. It dried mine out gently and it worked after that. Take the batterny out and everything. Lay out each piece.

Well if your weren't smart enough to purchase replacement insurance on the phone for a small fee, which covers theft, loss and damage, you are pretty much S.O.L. lol

I feel your pain, my samsung was dropped in a glass of Bawls, and it just died, but my uncle owns a cell store and he amnaged to fix it for me, take out the battery and dont try to turn it on! Maybe there's hope....

Same thing happened to my nextel phone when I first got it, i was driving and it slid into a glass of water....It didnt work ever again, had to get a new one . . . . Do you have insurance for it?

If after drying and cleaning by moist soft cloth it works you are lucky. You can also try changing the battery .Buy a new one otherwise.
