Frequent nosebleeds can be caused by:
1. The atmosphere is too dry or dusty
2. High blood pressure
3. Changes in the membrane of the nose due to pregnancy, allergies, or some sort of infection
4. Trauma to the nose
Losing that much blood from a nosebleed is not normal. See your doctor ASAP, you might have to have a blood vessel in your nose cauterized, or you could have an underlying medical problem.

maximum is 3 tsp. When bleeding stop drink as much water as you can. Rehydration help blood volume to increase.
The mucous membrane in your nose might be to
dry, to prevent this do a nostril lavage with a 0.9% sodium chloride solution available in the pharmacy. You need a big syringe for the application or rinsing your nostrils. After rinsing, apply a nose ointment to prevent the mucous membrane to dry again. The oint builds up a filn layer to protect the area from any irritaion.
My husband have nose bleeding so often times too. He knows the remedy but lazy to apply.

it is too plenty and too frequently! circulate to the physician, i'm no longer kidding! i'm getting them each so frequently, possibly each 2 weeks. I not at all lose that plenty blood! to stop a nosebleed, I lay down and relax, pushing firmly on the realm it relatively is bleeding to stop it off. in case you are trying this for ten minutes, it is going to stop.

You need to ask a doctor. It's not normal to have 2-3 nosebleeds per day. You might have heat stroke or something.

i would suggest that you consult your doctor as far as i know it's not normal to regular nose bleeds like that especially if you losing cup full of the stuff. and i would not take anybodies advice on how to treat it unless they told where they got there information and that you are sure that it is from a reliable source.

It could be as simple as allergies, but really if you are having them that often with that amount of blood you may want to get it checked out to be safe. My son gets them alot and has a great deal of blood, scary sometimes. We found out that he has pulps in his nasal cavity and he takes an inhaler to control the problem. I put up a link for a good resource. Good Luck to you!

i used to have nose bleeds like that. my mom took me to the doctor and said its because the air is dry. try to get a humidifier. and when you get one, put your head upsidedown(lay on your back like on a couch and have your head to the floor) and hold the hard upper part of your nose, it will ususally take about 5 to 10 minutes for it to stop bleeding. but do NOT blow it, it will only make it worse
