Is anyone else sick of being out with their kids and disrespectful people cussing or discussing their sex lives within earshot? Such as at family restaurants or the grocery store parking lot?

Actually, Ms On I know too much about them. I don't think people fought and lost lives so people could sit in a booth accross from where my family is sitting waiting on a meal we paid for and discuss the best way to perform oral sex on their boyfriend or fight and cuss and talk about the "*****" or "skank" that "****** so-and-so"s man... I respect your boyfriend for fighting in Iraq- but if someone sat down and discussed oral sex WITH a 3 year old it's considered molestation- if someone describes oral sex with a 3 year old in earshot- it's the PARENTS that have to choke it down- you wouldnt discuss it WITH them so don't discuss it where they can hear.

I am. I think that it should be a private matter between the couple. No excuses. Let us show some respect and dignity (if it still exists).

Wow, this shows where people today really are. Young and dumb and just plain ignorant. Society is getting younger and younger. The over all or the dominating opinion in a lot of everyday life is dictated by the young. The bottom line is that we do live in a free country and we do live in a different time, but a lot of things occurring today is because someone or no one said anything when it first happened. It was just let go....like teenage pregnancy, like dropping out of school, like cussing in public in front of any and everyone. We live in a free country because we were supposed to respect each other, have similar goals and continue to build a better country. You think being disrespectful in any situation does not bring this society down? Dang!!!!! How can we ever hope to be more than we are if we can't show each other a little consideration. A long time ago we considered our children to be the future. We mold our future every day with our actions. No wonder young people are curious about sex and Its pretty easy to let school go cuz you learned all you needed by listening to others and besides its really cool to cuss and talk nasty in public....at least to other like minded people. I wonder what there contribution is to society.

As a mother of 2 kids I know where you are coming from. The times are changing and it's not for the better. I was brought up to be respectful and those sorts of things shouldn't be discussed openly in public. Nor should cussing be heard when little kids are around.

For the prude comment, wait until your a parent and see how you want to protect your kids from such matters. If you do have kids.......I wouldn't wanna be them.

We fought for our freedom and people like you are just trying to take it all back away. I had this same issue with a shirt my boyfriend was wearing and we walked into a fast food restaurant, some a s s with his family was way offended by this shirt, and even offended that we were still served. The fact of the matter is... if you don't like it, leave. No one was FORCING this man to remain in the restaurant where he felt his kids were being subjected to "hateful and disgusting things" No one is forcing you to stand around and listen to people cuss or talk about sex. If you don't like.. walk away. I myself tend to watch what I'm saying in public places, especially where children are present.. but you have no right to be irritated that other people don't. Its a free country... people fought to make it that way. My boyfriend fought in Iraq.. and he's getting ready to be deployed again.. you would never know by looking at him and he gets treated with disrespect on a DAILY basis.. yet he's fighting for this country.. and fighting for what's right. Don't judge people by what they're talking about or what they're wearing for that matter... you know NOTHING about them.

In response.. If you have THAT much of a problem with it, open your mouth! Tell them that you really don't appreciate the way they are speaking around your children... MOST people with any kind of manners will realize what they're doing and knock it the hell off. Alot of the time, people don't take the time to look around them and observe who is within earshot. They're so caught up in what they're talking about... they don't even think twice about it. Do you ever SAY anything? Or do you just fume and get irritated that they have no respect? I'm only 24.. I've told PLENTY of people.. some TWICE my age that they're being quite rude and/or loud and I really don't want to hear their conversation. Like I said, usually they don't realize what they're doing.. and they stop. There are the few that really don't care.. and will keep doing whatever they're doing, and if you're constantly around people like that, my only suggestion would be maybe taking your children elsewhere when you shop or eat.

And maximum adult men do like an adventurous woman interior the sack, only lettin' ya understand.

Yep. It's called not having any respect for the people around you.
There is a time and a place for everything.
Our society has become too open and just let everything hang out sort of deal.
I'll talk trash but within the company I keep but we keep it to ourselves.

I'm sickened by how rude people behave in traffic and in public.
Especially in LA.
