When are people going to get bored with this tiresome, repetitive America-bashing?

Find something intelligent to talk about.

It you have specific criticisms of our politics or world-policy, try to come up with more intelligent questions. Lord knows, there is enough material to work with!

We discuss these things ourselves, endlessly, because WE are free to do so.

And, consider this: "Everyone" may hate us, but as soon as they are deep in it, they come running to us to bail them out, either financially, or with our military strength. And, we do. Hmmmmm....

People who live in America to reap the benefits, but bash America, are hypocrites. Hypocrites. You are free to leave at any time. We will not miss you, but you may find yourself missing our way of life, and our opportunities.

It's lonely at the top. Think of this, ma cher. We are the most culturally diverse country in the world. We have millions of viewpoints to work with since we are so diverse. We have people who are dedicated to this country merely because it is home to us. Also, Arabs hate us because they see American interference (and yes, I am against the actions the military is taking) as another imperialistic ploy to control their lands. In case you are wondering, it was Europe that first decided to build an Empire in the East. Europe has always been anti-American since their communications decried America from the beginning as a backwater colony. And, now that we've gone from backwater colony to global power, they just can't stand it. As for the Russians...we have the consumer goods and the economic system that their people so very badly need and want. Also, since Russia is so far from global power centers, it leads to their isolation from the mainstream, and they don't like being left out. Also, they're xenophobic. They don't like anyone who isn't Russian. Finally, in America it is possible for a person to be something different than what his or her parents were. In much of the world, that's not possible. You live and die as generations have before you. Here in America, it's possible to live and be whatever you want. My ancestors came to America in the early 1800s, and they were only indentured laborers. My grandmother had to leave school after the eighth grade in order to work and help her family. My mother only had a high school education. Now, I am in my final year of college. I intend to continue to gain my master's degree. I speak English, French, Russian, Spanish, and Greek. If my family were still in Europe, that would not have been possible for me or for anyone. We would have still been laborers. I think that you need to get over your feelings of inadequacy and accept that America is the way it is, and that it's not going to fold up anytime soon. Were you aware that George Washington had a vision of the country lasting until Doomsday? Think of that.

Contrary to much belief not all Americans are self-obsessed idiots. My husband is American and thinks that George Bush is the biggest idiot of them all. People seem to forget that 50 million Americans did NOT vote for Bush at the last election-that should tell you something...

On the other hand I am English, (thats in Europe by the way) and I certainly do not hate Americans, so don't judge people by your own standards. That is just infantile.

Please get your head out of your butt by stereotyping Americans. It is views like that lead to prejudice in the world and create differences between people- the real cause of war.

everybody hates the best country in the world. It just the way it is. You all hate the guy on top. Just like your boss at work, everybody is smarter than him,
When you are in trouble you don't mind us help you stay free. You always have your hand out. Now why is that? Because your little country cant do it on its own. You need us, Do you think we like helping the world, we do it because no one else can. And we are brave and strong enough too.

Congratulations!!! You have been able to put together a sentence using the word vacuum!!! You even used the word humility! Wow! Is bashing another country anonymously your definition of humility, or did you just come across it in a dictionary, and not read the definition? Idiot.

Do you vote for what your homeland government does?? Do you get that choice? We here in USA did not get to vote on going to war, we as citizens of USA had no choice in the war, as we still do not. There are millions of us in USA that hate the war and what it has become, we can not tell our President what to do, can you tell your leader what to do?? We are not all bad people here, just like, all of the people in Iraq are not bad people there either. Not all Americans are wealthy living in huge houses with a lot of money. And as it happens to be, more foreign people move here to USA than to any other country in the world, for the way that we live and what USA has to offer. I personally wish that immigration for foriegn people would stop completely, We do not need any more foriegn people coming to out land trying to sponge off of us for our American money. And if you are here only for the money, then work your *** off to get it, don't expect the free handouts that are meant for USA citizens! Not all of us are stupid, but to believe that a country with over 100 tillion people living in it are all the same, makes you all who think so, seem stupid. We may be hated, like you seem to think, but we are still THE BEST there ever was!!

You can't always be popular when doing the right thing...or what you feel to be right at the time. Multiply our population by their perception of right and wrong and you create a mass consciousness. I liken it to mob mentality. It is hard to know sometimes. We need to fill our proverbial vacuums with a heightened sense of responsibility toward world peace and the suffering of others...only then, will real change take place...and the rest of the world will follow.

Yeah, you've identified yourself as choosing to belong to part of a problem than part of a solution. But I really don't expect you to understand that. In simple terms, it works kinda like sheep do.. They all follow each other even when they're lost. I guess that's why the US always ends up being the Shepherd, regardless of what the sheep think...
