The most important thing about a 1st date ... is BE YOURSELF. That's the most important thing you could ever do in life. If you "pretend" to be something you are not ... remember.. you are going to have to keep pretending that for the duration of the relationship. If you are yourself ... and that person falls for your TRUE self ... then you will have an amazing relationship.
The second thing about a first date that I find to be the most important thing .... a 1st date isn't an interview. Don't sit there and ask the same typical questions everyone does. "where did you go to school?" "what do your parents do?" etc...
Obviously those aren't questions you will avoid forever... but make the 1st date interesting. Talk about anything and everything... but it's not a job interview. So keep it interesting ... keep it dynamic and spontaneous. Have a good time and enjoy that other person's company.
Don't force any situations ... as if things are meant to be ..they will happen. Don't stress about first kisses .. or taking that person back home with you. Trust me ... if it is meant to be... it will happen ...when the time is right ...you will know.

Listen. Ask questions. Act interested in your date. don't be pushy or over aggressive. Be funny. Be chivalrous. Open the doors for your date.

LET THE PERSON KNOW THAT YOUR WITH THAT THEY ARE THE MAIN FOCUS.......NOT EVERYONE ELSE AROUND THEM...
