how do you know if a guy seriously likes you?

Do you like him? Should you like him? Why should you like him? Why should you not like him?
Try answering these questions. There is no real way for anyone to know if this is true through undetailed words across the internet.
Only you can answer that question. But we can still give advice.
My advice is that you should stay cautious. People go into relationships because they desire something. If you do not have any desire for the guy, then why care?
Why do you ask the question? If you like him, then try to be friends and get to know him better. That way you have some idea of what you seek.

This is a hard question to answer. The only real way is if he is still with you in 30 years time I supose. I would say if he has a reputation as a bit of a tart stay clear cos that is what he is!
If what you are asking is would a guy go out with you? then if he makes a proper atempt to talk to you every time he sees you then yes he likes you.

He buys you a brand new sports car and he is only driving a dumpy pick up truck, then I would say he seriously likes you.

If a guy really likes you he'll listen to what you have to say, and he'll keep a conversation going with you. He also won't pressure you into anything, and he'll respect your wishes, and support you in anything.
