I have been dating a military guy for the past 2 months who is at the opposite end of the country. We talk, e-mail, or text message on a daily basis. We declare our love for each other daily. I don't have any reason to believe he is looking for anyone else, but I feel so insecure knowing he is so far away and the if the opportunity arose, it would be very easy for him to cheat. Is it realistic of me to believe that our long distance relationship could work and he won't cheat on me?

Ok it is very hard to keep the spark (if u like) when your hundred's of miles apart....the truth is you have to have trust and faith.
You could be worrying for nothing and that could tear you apart. It is very hard to date someone in the military, but it is hard for them also, they have rule's they have to stand by. So i guess you should try to talk to the guy about your worries, when you have then you can decide whether you have enough trust and faith to see your relationship through.
good luck to you.

I would have to say that you can trust him as well as any other guy!! Long distance relationships are hard to deal with. My husband was in the military and even though we were married he still had to go overseas for 6 months at a time. All men will look at other women, fortunately for me I got one of the good ones who would never cheat. But keep in mind you are not married, so he is not bound to you in any way. GOOD LUCK!

My husband is in the military and has been over seas and happens to be sitting right next to me. I asked him for you. He says there is nothing over there to cheat with. He says the men want to do their job and get home. I know how you feel though, I was a little worried when he was over there. This is a great way to build up trust in your relationship. They way I saw it was, there aren't to many choices of women over there, and if something did happen you would never know it anyway. So just try and relax and wait for him to come home.

Don't trust any Man, being a man I can say that. Even if he loves you there are chances that he will be farring around other girls. While after marriage he may be sincere and attached to you but opportunity gets he would enjoy extra marital pleasures.
If you are too worried about your Eve's Wealth ( Virginity ) - avoid him.For Arm forces men - Never.

i think a military guy could be as trustworthy as any guy, why not? i mean someone could cheat on you even if they lived in the same town, right? have you actually gone out with him or did you meet him on line? all you can do in any relationship is be trusting of them and them of you until it is proven otherwise, don't worry needlessly, just enjoy the relationship.

You need to trust him. You sound like you are doing all you can do. I think a military guy can be very trustworthy. He sure will know how to protect you if you marry him.

it could go either way trust your instinct and go with what your heart says. if you have reason to believe that hes cheating just ask him and if he sounds sincere well then u should be good. if u truly love one and other u can make ur relationship work isnt it worth it 4 love??

i think he does cheat. its hard not too when you are lonely and far away. my friends man did cheat....many times....while in the marines. but that doesnt mean he might not love you. and i dont think it will work out, cause you cant know a person just by emails or phone.

About as trustworthy as any guy. So if you don't have any reason not to trust him then don't.
