i was a codependend needy guy and possesive toxic person and i was a huge pot head -i have since quit - the day we broke up - now its been a month and a half and the last time she contacted me was 2 weeks ago - why doesnt she want to see the changes i have made? i want her to know how much she ment to me, and how i want to rebuild our relationship - i have read so much on self improvement BUT PLEASE HELP ME TOO

Dude, it's good you made some changes in your life. The one thing you have to realize though, is that you have no control over what SHE does. As much as you want to impress her with what you've done to change your life for the better if she's not interested any longer, she's not interested.

It doesn't mean you should immediately stop trying to make yourself a better human being by adopting healthy changes to your life. Far from it. As time goes on, one of a few things will happen. 1) She will contact you and notice the changes you've made and want to resume a relationship.......or not. 2) You will meet someone else and she will quickly become a memory.......or not. 3) and the most important......with these changes you are making in your life, IE stopping the self medication and co-dependency, you will become a stronger person and be able to handle either of the two previous items no matter what.

Good luck to you and take the time to learn who YOU really are without the co-dependency and self medication. As the days pass you WILL be stronger, you WILL feel better, and you WILL become a better human being.
