Hate to say it but your cat may be off on an adventurous journey of finding a mate. That would all depend on if she is spayed or not. If not, it could be possible that is what she is doing. If it is meant for her to return, she will in due time. Let's just hope that the worst doesn't happen to her while she is out. You might want to post fliers in your neighbor about her missing, or even place an ad in the local classifieds' lost and found pets column. Hopefully she will return as for I'm sure you miss her dearly.

we lost our cat
the first thing you do is go to the local humane society and fill out a report then if it is brought in then they will call you
call the non emergency number for the police or animal control and ask if they have picked up any cats and if you need to file a lost report with them
if you have a picture you can copy it and put them in all the houses apartments stores and laundry facilities in you area
also call local vet clinics
It took 9 days and someone found our cat and she is safe at home and I have also had her microchiped since it cost about 30 bucks

Ok you need to walk around the neighborhood, calling her name, listening for her to see if she got stuck somewhere. Put something that smells like you (like a dirty sock, dirty clothes or something) outside because cats find their way home by both smell and sound. Put up lost posters all around the neighborhood. Go door to door to all your neighbors and show them pictures of your cat and ask them to keep an eye (and ear) out; leave them your number incase they do find her. Call local vets in the area to see if anyone brought in a stray they found. If so, go down and see if it is your cat. Leave copies of the lost poster or pictures at the vet's office. Call the local animal shelters and give a lost pet report. Go down there and see if they have your cat; they only keep stray pets for a short while; if they don't get adopted or find the owner they get put down so you need to go see them right away.
My cat went missing last winter, we did everything to find him, and 2 weeks later he just came home. We think he got caught in someone's garage and finally got free and came home. cats, especially neutered ones, typically don't go far from home. Good luck!

try putting up signs in the area where she ran away and with some luck some one will return her.
Information to include:
Your home phone
a picture of the cat
your name
your address
any identifying information.
Also contact the local humane society/animal shelter they can notify you if some one brings in your cat.
finally, if you wait and be patient she may find her way home.

"Here kitty, kitty, kitty!"
Put food in a bowl on the porch...LOOK FOR HER! Post an ad in the paper, she will come back, hopefully. If she does I wouldn't be too surprised if she was pregnant if I were you. My old cat did that an came back pregnant. SHe had 12 kittens, 10 lived. The other two she wouldn't nurse, we tried, but they had NO mothers milk in the first place.

inform the shelter (many good descriptions above)
and also put out her favorite food and call her name before you go to work and when you come home (times that are already established with her) and if she's around and can, she will show up
