For a Mormon and a Jehovah's Witness, they believe in knocking on your door on a Saturday morning and telling you why your religion stinks and that you will burn in the everlasting fires of hell unless you recant and convert.

To give you a detailed description of each would not be reasonable. Decidedly the synopsis coming up will be from a born-again Christian's point of view.

Once again, decidedly the information given will be based on information that the born-again Christian's belief system is not in agreement with.

#1) Jehovah's Witness: One that believes (for the most part) that only 144,000 will make it into heaven. And that God (the Father), Jesus (the Son), & the Holy Spirit are three different entities.

#2) Mormon (or Latter Day Saint): Believes that Jesus and satan are brothers (for the most part, meaning maybe not all believe that particular doctrine).

That you can pray for people who have been dead for years, and they still have an opportunity to get into heaven.

They also believed at one time that the Black nation was cursed because of the color of their skin. That is until the 1970's - 80's and they wanted to draft Blacks for athleticism and winning seasons, into Brigham Young University. That doctrine was miraculously reversed.

#3) Adventist (or Seventh Day Adventist): Believes that the original Sabbath Day in scripture (which is Saturday) should be adhered to even in today's belief system.

That by not adhering to the Sabbath Day doctrine of Saturday worship is bringing about a lot of God's wrath upon the Church as well as the world.

That's my spiel from life's learning experiences, I didn't want to go Online and do an indepth study. I will add...I believe that the aforementioned Faith systems can all remain in harmony with one another without descension, because we all belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

We all also believe that He WAS born of a virgin, and that you have to be born-again to partake of eternal life with God. So I believe...be what you want to be just be born-again. That will eventually lead you into all truths through the Holy Spirit.

Peace Out.

They are all Christians, even if some other Christians don't like what they believe. To learn more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as the Mormons), please visit the link below. Many people like to share information about the Mormons that just isn't true, and some of the answers posted to your question are no different. If you wish to learn what Mormons really believe, ask a Mormon, or visit their website. As far as Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists, I don't know very much.

Im one of Jehovahs Witnesses. I guess the main things people know we done believe is in the trinity and that Jesus and Jehovah are one. We also use Gods name. And we do what God thru the Bible specifically told us all to do, preach the good news of his kingdom. :) I think if you have more questions you can contact me. Hope I helped

Also you should really only believe what a witnesses tells you about their religion. For some reason people play the telephone game with rumors about our religion. You know where it starts off with one thing then by the end its totally different. Some times people just misunderstand. Like if you heard from someone something about your best friend would you want to hear it from your best friend to know its the truth instead of not being sure if that other person told a lie? Dont always believe what nonwitnesses tell you. Sometimes they dont have all their facts straight.

Jehovahs Witnesses believe that only a pre-selected and pre-set number of people are going to be allowed into their "heaven." (I agree this makes their religion futile if it's pre-set) Mormons believe the word of their great "prophet" John Smith. The man was a total retard. South Park does a very intelligent (though crude) satire on the mormon religion in season 7. John Smith had all these crazy things to say but absolutely no evidence to back any of it up, it's a cult along with the Jehovah's Witnesses.

we as Jehovah Witnesses worship Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ. we are a religion, we are not a cult. a cult worship a man. yes we don't celebrate holidays. they are pagan, Jesus was not born on DEC 25 so why would we celebrate a lie. our children get gifts all year, so we don't wait for a pagan holiday. we don't take blood, even if I was not a witness I would never take blood, they could check it all they want and I still would not take it. our children get the best doctor care in the world. Jehovah wants the best for our children. children who are brought up not witnesses don't get they shots and when they start school they have to get all there shots at one time. we love our neighbor so we will not go to war. Jesus Christ commanded us to go door to door at Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20. we don't bother anyone, if you are not interested we say have a good day and leave. we can not change your religion that has to be your choose. I am tired of people slandering us by saying we are a cult. we pay bills and shop just like anyone else days. we don't worship the flag but you will not see a Jehovah Witness burn the flag. we don't worship idols. as far as the 144,000 we did not make that up. they are anointed by Jehovah God not by man. people who get anointed by man are not anointed at all. the are the only ones who know the song. read it in Revelation it is in your king james bible also. look up www.watchtower.org. people who are disfellowshipped or who know nothing about us, will say anything bad about us. don't believe then. if you really want to know about us, go to a meeting and meet us. the doors are open. people say there is no windows, but the kingdom hall that I go to have windows. many don't because it is cheaper with out the windows and we would be looking outside instead of listening to the talk. people say we are nude, we are wearing clothes.

One thing about these groups you must know.....

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if anyone on earth or an appearance of an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! (The devil was once an angel who was cast out of heaven, he deceive many others as he appears as an angel of light.) As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be forever accursed! Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ." - St. Paul letter to the Galatians, chapter 1, verses 6-10.

JW and LDS both diminish Jesus Christ and claim that He is merely the son of a greater father. Mormons or LDS believe that the Father looks like any other man and is not the infinite creator. JWs believe that Jesus is Michael the archangel.

Who knows where they get this stuff - oh yea - false prophets.

JW's created thier own bible, they believe Jesus and Satan are brothers. Mormons are another cult, they wrote their own bible and believe we eventually become a God equal to the Father. 7th day adventists believe that the true day of worship is saturday, not sunday, otherwise, they are pretty much inline with most christian beliefs.
