I find the moon so deeply beautiful. When I was once in a vision Jesus came and took me behind it...and spoke to me there.. I feel that the moon is my sister...and there is a deep affinity in my heart for it... Any advise from any spiritual ones ?

The moon is feminine in gender, and is symbolically linked with womanhood and motherhood, "And then [Elohim created] the moon, ever punctual, to mark the times, an everlasting sign. It is the moon that signals the feasts, a luminary that wanes after being full. The month derives its name from hers; she waxes wonderfully in her phases - banner of the hosts on high, shining in the vault of heaven." [Ecclesiasticus 43:6-8]
A suitable time to honor Eloah is at the time of the New Moon. Rosh Chodesh means both 'month' and 'new moon'
Traditionally, women, in particular, celebrate their own femininity and the femininity of Eloah during the ordinances of Kiddush Levanah [Rosh Chodesh]. According to Hebrew tradition, the observance of Rosh Chodesh was given particularly to women, and women did [and do] observe it as a Sabbath. It is appropriate to identify more closely with Eloah [the Holy Spirit] as we celebrate the ordinances of the moon.

There are several takes on the moon. Some Germanic tribes viewed the moon as masculine and the sun as feminine. This is the view that I favor. Christ is a solar Deity, a sun-god. He was born on the darkest day of the year, Winter Solstice, and from then on the days get longer.
However, there is proof that the moon is actually artificial, someone made it and put it into orbit around the Earth. Whenever an Apollo craft landed on the moon, it would ring like a bell that had been struck. It's either hollow, or that's just plain freaky.

St Francis. Brother Sun Sister Moon. Its a wonderful wonderful film.

As for the moon. In visons typicaly represents the feminine side of the god head.. name it what you will but within infinity and god there are things feminine.. It is healer.. it is warrior it is a divine reflection of all that nutures. I call mother god Azna.. but there is not so much a name but an essance.. something im sure you know by now.

Jesus was varywell aquinted with the female aspect of god. though employing his healing and ability to read and soothe those around him.. he also seemed to have gifts with the father side of god.. in walking on water and tuening water to wine etc.

Sleep well under a full moon? then your at ease with this energy. pagans and wiccans refer to it as diana i beleave. however whatever version helps you.. there are many dieties and ascended beings affiliated with the moon.

Many people feel spiritually connected to the moon. Women especially, because the moon can be associated with not only life's cycle but the menstrual cycle. You should learn about some of the more moon oriented religions, and incorporate some of their beliefs into yours if you wish. Contact me if you'd like to get some info on the moon.

the moon is a spiritual inspiration for many religions. there is something magical about it that is almost nameless. being a woman, i have always felt a special kinship with the moon. it moves the tides, our cycles as women follow the same 28 day cycle of the moon. i'm not christian, tho i think jesus was a great guy and that there are many paths to the same goal. perhaps he was trying to make you aware of the natural tie between man and nature and the mysteries that lie with in. either way, nuture your relationship with your "sister moon", it can do no harm!

You aren't in a vision, you have visions. If you see yourself in it, it is a dream. How did you know it was Jesus? Noone knows what he looks like. You probably dreamed a face similar to the paintings by artists who made up a face for Jesus. If you really saw him, tell us what he really looks like, but it is certainly not like the pictures dreamed up by the artists.
You don't mean "advise" from....You mean advice, and I have none for you.

You came to the wrong blog looking for an answer. I would suggest you try to find a spiritualist camp near your area and talk with a reverend from there. This board is infested with anti-everything christians who will do nothing but persecute you for what and who you are.

I think the moon is beautiful too. I think God has created nature this way for our benefit. Just think, this only reflects a small piece of His Glory.
