Being a parent can be one of the most rewarding and one of the most frustrating things a person can do! I have 2 boys and both are teenagers with special needs. I am also in the Military which can cause problems in the way thing are done. My kids both are very independent and are trying very hard to (In My Opinion) grow up as fast (TO FAST) as possible. But both are very hard working and have a very strong since of what is right and wrong. If for no other reason that is a big reward. The frustrating thing is due to my job I have missed allot of their lives! It is hard when a special occasion or birthday comes up and I am on duty or deployed. But My wife tells me that my kids are proud of me and we all try to support each other as best as possible. My boys are not saints, but They do the best they can with what they have (even if one of the drawbacks is me)

Being a parent is the Biggest, Most Challenging and Non-Stop job you'll ever have. You have only 1 chance to do it right --- and major mistakes can have life-long consequences. But I wouldn't trade it for the world. I have a 7 year old daughter, 5 year old son and an 8 month old son .. and I'd gladly do it all over again. I'm committed to them for life -- they are everything to me -- I love them completely and forever : )

Being a parent is to take the most important part of yourself and place it somewhere outside of your body. You worry about it all the time and hope that you are doing the best to make this part of you grow. It is about being worried every time your child is out of your site and feel relief when you see them come around the corner. It is about loving someone else so much it changes the world. It is about sticky kisses, footy jammies, crumbs in your soda, bed time stories and giggles.

Just as the Commercial says "having a baby changes everything" Yes, it is a huge responsiblity, but it's totally worth it. I wouldn't change it for a million dollars.

think about how you feel with your boyfriend and multiply that a billion times, thats the love for a child.

Some people have it in them and some don't.
If it's in you you will most likely love it.
