I have trained ccats to walk on a leash but they are difficult to train and a lot more patience is needed by the trainer. I have traveled with cats from wisconsin to kansas and finally to germany. cats can be walked but I suggest starting with a kitten and letting them drag the leash and get used to it befor trying tou se it to controll where they go. walking a cat on a leash can be just as funn as walking a dog. but usually there is less pulling during training and alot of tangle leashes.

One walked around the block with me, at night.
My last cat walked with me no matter where I went, day or night, and came running when called.

good luck getting a collar let alone a leash on my cat. Although we I take walks around the neighborhood, sometimes he walks alongside me down my street for a while.....my cat is weird.

I bought my cat a leash and have tried to take him for a walk, but he really doesn't think much of it.

No but I should, I guess. I'd feel silly and self conscious. I think leashes suck. Our cats are house bound! If I let them sneak out there will Hel* to pay!
