Nope, sorry, "Chicago" didn't come from Spanish.
The name "Chicago" derived from the Indians but it is not known which tribe named the town, and many theories have been advanced to explain the origin of the name. One generally accepted is that the name comes from the Indian words for either wild onion or skunk, but some historians believe that the word Chicago denoted "strong" or "great."
You could make the same argument about any syllable of any word, and translate it into something unrelated in any other language. It doesn't make it right or correct.

I'm pretty sure Chicago is an Indian name, so it has nothing to do with Spanish. Just coincidence that the last four letters mean I poop in Spanish.
